Front Porch Swing Music Played By Happy People!

The Big Deals are kind of like country or jazz or swing but not really.  It's what happens when friendship, southern storytelling, musical talent and string quartet sensibilities combine.

The Big Deals are all seasoned and award-winning performers.  Sinclair first came into the national spotlight when he was selected as a Merlefest Emerging Artist and as a three time award winner of the NC Grassroots Artists awards for songwriting and performance.

Molly Barrett’s superb fiddle and vocal work are an integral part of the signature sound of this group.  Molly is an in-demand session player, a talented band mate and is a highly creative and melodic fiddle player!

Tim Gallagher is an expressive mandolin player with a diverse musical resume.  Tim also covers second fiddle on multiple tunes to give the band a Big Deal Symphony sound!

Jim Clark is a veteran of the Americana festival scene and one of the most in-demand jazz bassists around.

Also joining The Big Deals on guitar, bass and vocals is Aaron Ramsey - a unique talent as an instrumentalist, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer.

This band has fun being together and making this music. And it shows!

Bob Sinclair and the Big Deals are a significant new voice in the Americana music world!

Accolades-

It's as if A.P. Carter, the Gershwin Brothers, and Hank Williams all came back to life and said, "Let's write one more with Bob and then die."

-Vance Gilbert

“Sinclair’s band played our music series and was just terrific! I would highly recommend his group to any event, festival or venue. Your audiences will love you for it!”

Sinclair's songs are so well put together that they seem not to have been put together at all-as if they've always been there.  Sinclair is a top-class artist.

-Adam Levy

I LOVE Bob Sinclair.

-Toni Price (Austin, Texas grand dame of songs)

Sinclair's songs remind me of Uncle Walt's Band.  Cool.  Very Cool.
